Three-way market for the match outcome. 1 = home win, X = draw, 2 = away win. The most basic football market and the most-bet line by ticket count globally.
A single bet combining 2+ selections — all must win for the bet to pay. Odds multiply across legs, so a 3-leg accumulator at 1.50 each pays at 3.375 instead of 1.50.
Example: Three football matches at 1.40 / 1.50 / 1.65 → combined odds 3.46 = $34.60 return on $10 stake.
A handicap bet that eliminates the draw outcome. Half-goal lines (-0.5, +1.5) cannot push; quarter-goal lines (-0.25, -0.75) split the stake into two halves.
Example: Liverpool -1.5 means they need to win by 2+ goals for your bet to pay.
Crash-style game where a multiplier rises from 1.00x and "flies away" at a random point. Players cash out before the crash to lock in winnings. Popular on 1xBet, 1xGames category.
A selection considered near-certain in an accumulator. Used as the foundation around which other legs are built. The opposite is a "longshot" leg.
The implied house edge built into odds. A 1X2 market summing to 105% has a 5% margin. Lower margin = better value for the bettor.
Example: A two-way market at 1.95 / 1.95 has a margin of ~2.6% (one of the tightest available).
A bet that both sides will score at least one goal in the match. Yes pays if both score; No pays if at least one team is shut out. Settled at full-time only (no extra time).
Example: England vs Spain at BTTS Yes 1.85 — pays if both teams score at least once.
A feature that lets you settle a live bet before the event ends, for less than the full payout. The cash-out value moves with the in-play odds. Locks in profit or limits losses.
Example: A 3-leg accumulator with two legs settled and one live can cash out at ~70% of full payout.
The difference between the odds you took and the closing odds at kick-off. Positive CLV = you beat the market. Sharp bettors are measured by CLV, not by short-term wins/losses.
Multiplied odds across an accumulator. If 4 selections each have decimal odds of 1.5, combined odds are 1.5 × 1.5 × 1.5 × 1.5 = 5.06.
Odds format showing total return per unit staked. Decimal 2.50 means $2.50 returned per $1 ($1.50 profit + $1 stake). Most international books use decimal; US uses moneyline; UK historically uses fractional.
A 1X2 alternative where the draw is voided — your stake is refunded if the match ends in a draw. Lower odds than match-winner but eliminates one outcome from your risk.
Example: Manchester United DNB at 1.55 instead of match-winner at 1.85.
A platform where users bet against each other instead of against a bookmaker. Both back (bet for) and lay (bet against) are available. Betfair is the largest. 1xBet does not operate an exchange.
The average expected return of a bet over many trials, accounting for probability and odds. Positive EV = profitable in the long run; negative EV = losing on average. EV = (probability × payout) − (1 − probability) × stake.
A bet on which player scores the first goal of a match. Settled void if the player does not start (penalty refund). Most popular side market in football alongside top scorer.
UK-style odds shown as a fraction (5/1, 11/4). 5/1 means $5 profit per $1 staked. Convert to decimal: (numerator/denominator) + 1.
Example: 7/4 = (7÷4) + 1 = 2.75 in decimal.
A bet on the total number of goals in a match. Over 2.5 needs 3+ goals; Under 2.5 needs 0, 1, or 2. Settled at full-time only.
Example: A Champions League knockout typically prices Over 2.5 at 1.85.
Award for the top scorer of a tournament (World Cup, Euros, Africa Cup of Nations). Pre-tournament odds favour strikers from finalist teams — match count matters more than per-game scoring rate.
A virtual goal/point head-start applied to one team. -1 handicap means the team must win by 2+ goals; +1 means they can lose by 1 goal and still cover. European 3-way handicaps include the draw; Asian handicaps eliminate it.
Placing additional bets on the opposite outcome to lock in profit or limit losses regardless of result. Common when accumulator legs settle ahead and the final leg is uncertain.
Example: After 3 of 4 acca legs settle, lay the favourite of the final match on Betfair to guarantee profit.
The probability that the odds suggest. Convert decimal odds to implied probability: 1 ÷ odds. Decimal 2.50 → 1/2.50 = 40% implied probability.
Example: France at 6.0 to win the World Cup = 16.7% implied probability.
Placing bets after a match has started, on rapidly-updating live odds. 1xBet refreshes lines every 6-10 seconds during football matches. Cash-out usually becomes available after the 70th minute.
Identity verification process required before first withdrawal. Submit a government ID, proof of address, and sometimes a selfie. Typically completes in 1-3 business days; required by every regulated bookmaker.
A bet that an outcome will NOT happen. Available only on betting exchanges (Betfair, Smarkets). 1xBet does not offer lay markets — only back bets.
Free in-app or in-browser HD video streams of sporting events for logged-in users. 1xBet streams 30+ leagues including Premier League, IPL, NBA. Stream typically runs 3-5 seconds behind broadcast TV.
US-style odds expressed as +200 or -150. Negative moneyline = how much you stake to win $100 (-150 = stake $150 to win $100). Positive moneyline = how much you win on $100 stake (+200 = win $200 on $100).
A long-term bet on a tournament winner, top scorer, or final position. Settles at the end of the tournament. Higher odds than match markets but ties up your stake for weeks/months.
Example: Argentina to win the World Cup at 8.50 — pays 8.5x your stake if Argentina lifts the trophy.
A bet on whether a stat (goals, corners, cards, points) will be over or under a stated line. The line can be a half-number (no push) or whole/quarter (push or split).
US term for accumulator. See Accumulator.
Bets placed before kick-off. Lines are typically wider (more value) than in-play but lock in once the match starts.
A short code entered during registration to unlock a boosted welcome bonus. VIP4YOU is the current 1xBet promo code, raising the standard 100% welcome bonus to 130% with a higher cap.
A bet that ends in a tie with the line — stake is refunded. Only happens with whole-number handicap or total lines (e.g. "Over 2.0" with exactly 2 goals scored).
The minimum odds at which a bet counts toward bonus wagering. 1xBet requires 1.40+ on each accumulator leg. Bets below the threshold do not contribute to clearing the welcome bonus.
A profitability metric — total profit divided by total stakes, expressed as %. Professional sports bettors aim for 2-5% ROI long-term. Anything above 8% over thousands of bets is exceptional.
How many times the bonus must be wagered before withdrawal. 1xBet welcome bonus = 5x rollover on accumulators of 3+ legs at 1.40+ odds, within 30 days.
Example: $100 bonus × 5x rollover = $500 in qualifying turnover before cash-out.
A professional bettor who beats the market consistently. Identified by closing line value (CLV), not by short-term win rate. Books restrict accounts that show sharp characteristics.
A bet on one selection only. Lower variance than accumulators but lower potential payout. Most welcome bonuses do NOT count singles toward wagering.
US-style handicap. The favourite "gives" points to the underdog. -7.5 favourite means they must win by 8+; +7.5 underdog means they can lose by 7 and still cover.
A sudden, rapid line movement triggered by sharp money. Books shift odds quickly when a perceived professional bettor stakes heavily. Following steam moves is one of the simplest sharp strategies.
A combination bet covering multiple sub-accumulators from a pool of selections. A "2/3 system" places 3 separate doubles from 3 picks — at least 2 must win for any payout. Hedges against single-leg failures.
A bet on the leading goalscorer of a match, tournament, or season. Pre-tournament Golden Boot odds typically favour strikers from teams expected to advance deep — match count is the dominant factor.
A 3-leg accumulator. All three selections must win. Combined odds are the product of all three legs. Most popular bet structure for clearing 1xBet welcome bonus wagering.
India's mobile-first instant payment system. Used for 1xBet deposits via PhonePe, Google Pay, Paytm, BHIM. Settlement is instant; no fees from 1xBet side.
A bet where the actual probability of winning exceeds the implied probability of the odds. Sharp bettors only place value bets. The opposite is "tilt" or "punting".
Example: You estimate 50% probability for an outcome priced at 2.50 (40% implied) → +25% expected value.
The variability of a betting strategy's short-term returns. High-volatility plays (longshot accumulators) win less often but bigger. Low-volatility plays (heavy favourites) win often but small.
See Rollover. The amount you must turn over before bonus money becomes withdrawable.
First-deposit bonus for new players. 1xBet welcome bonus is 100% match by default; with promo code VIP4YOU it rises to 130% with a higher cap. One-time per person, household, IP.
Start with the four that appear on almost every bet slip: 1X2 (match-winner), Over/Under (totals), Accumulator (multi-leg bet), and Decimal odds (how returns are shown). Once those are second nature, add Handicap, BTTS and Cash out. Everything else builds on these six.
Divide 1 by the decimal odds. Odds of 2.50 give 1 ÷ 2.50 = 0.40, i.e. a 40% implied probability. Odds of 1.50 give 1 ÷ 1.50 = 0.67, or 67%. If you think the real chance is higher than the implied figure, the bet has value.
An accumulator needs every leg to win — one loss and the whole bet is dead. A system bet splits your selections into smaller combinations (for example three doubles from three picks), so you can still get a partial payout if one leg loses. Systems are safer but cost more in total stake.
Three: Rollover (the bonus must be wagered 5×), Qualifying odds (each accumulator leg must be 1.40+), and Accumulator (bonus turnover only counts on multi-leg bets of 3+ events). Master those and the wagering rules behind code VIP4YOU make sense.
The core definitions are universal — an accumulator, a handicap or implied probability mean the same everywhere. What changes between bookmakers is the rules around them: minimum qualifying odds, rollover multiples, and which markets count toward a bonus. Always read the specific operator terms.
