The 2025–26 cycle is over, and until the 20 October tip-off the board is futures-only. Win totals, MVP and conference prices are the softest they will be before opening night. Once 82 games start, the board is a nightly factory of moneylines, spreads and props.

Spreads are usually priced around 1.91 decimal on each side. Basketball key numbers (3, 7) matter less than in the NFL because one-possession games are a smaller share. Still shop +7 vs +6.5. Half a point is free if you can get it. Line thinking: handicaps and over/under.
The NBA-only edges (this is why the page is not the basketball hub)
- Back-to-backs. Second night, late clock, threes die, favourite lays too many. Totals and tired-favourite spreads are the classic ticket.
- Load management. A star listed as out at 5 p.m. ET reshapes the spread, the total and every PRA line. Check the report before you send the slip.
- Pace. Two top-10 pace teams push 230+. Two grinders pull 210. Do not copy a EuroLeague 162 onto this board. That warning lives on basketball betting the other way around.
- Travel. West-coast legs on an East start time. Fourth game in six nights. The market prices some of it. Not all of it, early in the season.
Player extras — a long list on a marquee (not counted), still a bad welcome tool
Points, rebounds, assists, threes, PRA, double-double, combo lines. Minutes and usage beat the season average. Opponent defence against that position beats the season average. A backup guard’s assists Over, the night the starter sits, is the kind of number that moves slow.
None of that unlocks VIP4YOU on its own. The welcome wants 3 or more matches at 1.40 or higher, bets adding up to 5 times the bonus, 30 days. A same-game four-leg prop slip is one match. Build three moneylines. Hunt PRA from cash.
10 markets do not use this rule
The 5× target above is the international offer. Where we have read the operator's own country terms, 10 markets publish something different — and in those markets the tickets described above move nothing:
- India — three winning single bets at 2.00 or higher, each staked at the full bonus and placed one after another. One loss ends the offer. Handicaps and totals are excluded.
- Cameroon, Ghana, Kenya, Nigeria, Senegal and Zambia — the bonus arrives in two halves. One clears on accumulators; the other only counts inside the 1xGames section, at 30 or 35 times. That section is 1xBet's own quick-games area — the terms name titles like PF Dice, Pachinko and PF Roulette in it, some of which are excluded from the count. It is not the third-party crash games most people mean by that phrase: Aviator, JetX and Spaceman sit in the casino and move neither half.
- Tanzania — eight times the bonus, not five, and the qualifying legs start at odds of 2.10 rather than 1.40.
- Jordan and Thailand — we could read the offer but not the multiplier: those terms pages render their own numbers blank until you have an account. Rather than repeat the five-times figure from elsewhere, we say nothing and point you at your own bonus balance.
Ghana, Nigeria and Zambia also step the percentage with the size of the deposit, and their multipliers step with it. Every country page carries its own figures; the country list is the index, and it now says which rows we read off the operator and which still come from partner listings.
One more line from the terms: on Armenia, Bangladesh, India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Uganda, handicap and total bets do not count toward the wagering at all — the rules strike them out together with refunded bets. Build those tickets from match winners, double chance or both-teams-to-score there.

Mistakes that are specifically NBA
- Props off the season average. Minutes and the matchup move first.
- Ignoring the 5 p.m. report. A late scratch swings everything you just priced.
- Chasing overs on the second night of a back-to-back. Tired legs late kill the over more often than the recap admits.
- A season future as a welcome ticket. MVP and title markets settle in June. The bonus clock is 30 days. Same trap as outright betting.

What is the point spread in NBA betting?
The point spread handicaps the favourite by a number of points. Backing a −6.5 favourite means they must win by 7+. Backing the +6.5 underdog means they must lose by 6 or fewer, or win. Spreads are usually priced around even (about 1.91 decimal).
What is the best NBA bet for a first ticket?
Moneyline (pick the winner) or the game total. Then the spread. Player extras and same-game combined slips are higher variance and a poor way to unlock the welcome bonus.
Can I use the welcome bonus on the NBA?
