Sport-specific guides expanded — Kabaddi, eSports, Tennis, Basketball, MMA/UFC

Until this week our sport-specific coverage focused on the two highest-volume verticals for our audience: cricket (the IPL is the single most searched-for betting topic in our markets) and football (a permanent global pillar plus the World Cup 2026 build-up). Today we're publishing five new long-form sport guides, each in the 1,800–2,400 word range, covering the most-asked non-cricket, non-football verticals.

Kabaddi betting

Kabaddi has exploded in South Asia thanks to the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) and a steadily growing TV audience. Our guide focuses on PKL: how the points system creates “all-out” opportunities for live punters, the raid-based prop markets that aren't available in any other sport, and the eight-team season structure with playoffs. We also cover Asian-Games kabaddi where the international markets are deeper than the league markets.

eSports betting

Counter-Strike 2 (the successor to CS:GO), Dota 2, League of Legends and Valorant are the four titles that account for the overwhelming majority of liquidity. The guide covers the major-tournament calendar (the Counter-Strike Majors, The International, LoL Worlds, the Valorant Champions Tour), market types unique to eSports (map handicap, total kills, first-to-X-rounds, knife-round winner) and the volatility that comes from patch cycles — a meta-defining patch can flip a 20-game-old form line overnight.

Tennis betting

Tennis is the most data-rich individual sport. Our guide breaks down the ATP / WTA tour structure, the four Grand Slams, surface-specific edge analysis (clay specialists vs hard-court specialists vs grass-court 6-event window), and the prop markets that experienced punters prefer over straight match-winner — especially set-handicap and total-games-in-match.

Basketball betting

The NBA is the deepest basketball market by a wide margin, but EuroLeague liquidity has improved every year since 2020 and is now competitive on top European fixtures. MMA / UFC betting

Why these five

We use search demand as the primary signal for which guides to launch first. Across the keyword set we track for our audience countries, “esports betting” ranks first in monthly volume after football and cricket, “tennis betting” second, “basketball betting” third, kabaddi is the highest-density South Asian non-cricket query, and MMA / UFC has steadily grown in Africa and the Arabic-speaking markets where boxing audiences cross over. The five together give us a strong long-tail layer underneath the cricket / football pillars.

What's coming next

The next batch on the editorial calendar covers boxing (separate from MMA/UFC; very different market structures), American football (NFL plus the college-football college conferences for North-American visitors), ice hockey (NHL plus KHL — relevant for the new CIS audience), volleyball (FIVB + the Italian and Polish leagues), and snooker. Plus a handful of mid-volume sports that don't justify a full guide but deserve a short reference (table tennis, darts, badminton, futsal).
